Senior Software Engineer
I develop software across Demia’s platform for trusted operational data: internal applications, external APIs, user and organization management, sites, sensors, readings, and confidence scores.
The backend is written in Rust and uses Redis, PostgreSQL, and MySQL. I integrate AWS, Google Cloud, Auth0, JWT, and OpenTelemetry, contribute React frontend work, and connect the platform to a self-hosted IOTA-based distributed network that serves as the source of truth.
Full-Stack Developer · Backend Lead · Part-Time CISO
I established the initial application and later led server-side development for a platform that combines messaging, translation, and interactive language learning.
I gradually took on a part-time CISO function alongside hands-on development. I coordinate security assessments and remediation across application code, AWS infrastructure, access controls, secrets, monitoring, third-party integrations, and technical policy implementation.
Software Engineer
I started as a core developer on IOTA node software, then moved to IOTA Streams: a data transfer layer for encrypted data sharing over the network using public/private-key cryptography.
I later built client libraries for connecting applications to IOTA nodes, focusing on bindings that exposed the core Rust library to Java, JavaScript, and Python.
Full-Stack Developer
As the company’s sole developer, I maintained the Ionic-based Toury cycling app and built a Node.js and MariaDB platform that transformed Strava and Toury ride data into challenges, badges, and activity overviews.

My studies covered high-performance network applications, TCP/IP, distributed object-oriented design, Unreal Engine 3, and a mobile development minor focused on Swift and Android.
I researched and prototyped a macOS virtual file system that allowed games to start before all files had downloaded. The work involved C/C++, Mach-O, binary structures, assembly concepts, and Xcode.
I ported Proun+ to Android, developed an Apple TV version, and maintained the iOS release using C++, Java, Objective-C++, Ogre, Open Dynamics Engine, JNI, Make, and Xcode.
